You have captured the real chandelier with excellent clarity. The rest is pure artistry, as the one chandelier becomes reflected to show at least four chandeliers.
Excellent depth!

This is one of your best shots of the Roman Forum!
You have captured lots of the remains from antiquity with excellent clarity.
The many figures, exploring the ruins are essential to give the scene a sense of scale!

This is an amazing feature, a perfect subject for photography! You can show us the reality of Chicago from the b/g but the reflected Chicago from The Bean takes on a whole new life! It is as if you are seeing everything through a fisheye lens!
Fine exposure!

I'm already on your side ... I loved Crete, too!
This is a fine view of the sea, the cliffs and the beach areas. There is a fine guiding line from the f/g, right round the edge of the sea, to the b/g.
It is only when you notice the figures on the beach, that you really understand the scale of the photograph. The rocks in the f/g take on a completely new dimension.
My warm regards,

This looks like a beautiful advert for Greece! Blue and white (colours of the Greek flag) seem to predominate!
The boat is a fine focal point and well placed in your composition. Its pointed shape acts like a guide towards the further details of the harbour, whilst the gulls infer a sense of movement.
It is a very bright and hopeful scene.

Each area has to respond as they feel fit, to this terrible virus! It sounds as if the precautions of masks and distancing is working here.
Your photograph shows the details of this building with pin-sharp clarity and I really like how the sunshine is creating striped shadows from the metal balcony.

My first impression was - what a good idea to take the photograph from this low viewpoint! We gain excellent details of the stream and the snow, on the edge of the water, like icy fingers!
We can then lift our eyes to take in the walkers, creating a fine sense of perspective.
I know some people will not like the sun spots but, to me, they add atmosphere.
My warm regards,
Bev :-) |

The colours really bring the scene to life and create the perfect, illuminated b/g against which to portray the silhouetted figures.
Have these caves been used by early man?
I have just heard that archaeologists have discovered the world's oldest known animal cave painting in Indonesia - a wild pig - believed to be drawn 45,500 years ago.
My warm regards,
Bev :-) |

You were very alert to notice this guy, reading the newspaper, whilst he had a quick break from his work to have a cigarette.
It might be an everyday occurrence in Canton but not something I would expect to see. What it does tell us, too, is how fit he must be. I cannot imagine many people being able to balance in this squatting position whilst they smoke and read the newspaper!
You have taken a good, sharp exposure and composed it nicely off-centre.
My warm regards,
Bev :-) |

Wow! What an excellent scene to photograph!
As a photographer, you couldn't have wished for anything better!
The monks are dressed in brightly coloured clothes, dispersed between these tall, religious sculptures and working in beautiful, low sunlight!
The setting gives an excellent sense of place, without distracting one bit from the focal images.
Love the details of the w/s, too.
What an amazing location to tour with your camera!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

I thought I remembered that you had posted a photograph of this Villa previously and found it, in 2014, though the weather was kinder then, with a bright, blue sky.
It is a beautiful building and, as you rightly say, sadly begins to fall apart. With the covering of snow and wintery aspect, the villa seems sadder.
You chose an excellent viewpoint, using the steps as a viewer guide and enclosing the trees, to emphasise how they are beginning to act like a curtain!
Keep safe,
Bev :-) |

This is so different from the building that you posted yesterday! There is no sign of well painted exteriors or fine balconies and verandas, just everyday buildings, slowly succumbing to neglect and the effects of the weather.
Again, a fine sharp exposure, with the telegraph pole strongly positioned in your composition.
My warm regards,
Bev :-) |

This is a beautiful, winter's scene!
The silvery snow covering adds a sense of romance.
The f/g is nice and sharp against a b/g of sheer, snow covered slopes.
I like how you have used the diagonal slope, edged with buildings, to create a fine sense of depth, in your composition.

So it's Kwaheri, Znazibar and Habari Poland!
It's sad but all holidays do have to come to an end!
This is a scene of perfect tranquility and calm. The sandy beach is edged by boats and by people in bright, colourful clothes.
Let's hope that it remains like this, and can avoid this awful virus.

An interesting photograph as a preliminary to views of the lake and island. You had a very extensive tour!
The details of the fence, reflected in your photograph from yesterday, does make an attractive feature.
The fenced pier, along with the edge of the ferry boat, act like a funnel, guiding us from the f/g, over the water, towards a distant boat and the island.
Your travelling partners were also eager to record the view!
My warm regards,
Bev :-) |

Your explicit notes add a very sad mood to this photograph, which clearly shows the ruinous state of this church, which would once have proudly revealed many arched windows.
It is hard to believe that man can be so savage in relations with others! All religions seem to promote love, kindness and tolerance and yet ... that is not what is displayed!
Have a good day,
Bev :-) |

People have become very inventive to continue trading, in these very stressful times.
Your b&w photograph is absolutely pin-sharp!
Though we have no audio, we can understand the verbal connection between customer and stall holder.
I had to research gluhwein, though I suspected what it might be. What a good idea to warm shoppers and offer them a little cheerfulness!

This looks beautiful, with the sprinkling of snow!
The cream-coloured buildings are built up the slope, like a series of similar steps.
The exposure is sharp and we can clearly see the protective wall which surrounds the settlement.
I think many places are experiencing snow, at the moment!

You have had masses of snow!
The houses look as if they are hibernating under a thick, fluffy blanket!
It's a fine thirds composition.

I wonder what effect the snow has had on the vines!

My first thought, especially from the thumbnail, was that it looked like an old painting. Windmills were very popular subjects for artists!
This is a fine example, strongly positioned , its blades seeming to link together the terracotta buildings, either side.
The grey sky is not a problem for there is definition in the clouds and they create a good contrast to the white exterior of the windmill.
My warm regards,
Bev :-) |
