    Hello Pavle,

How good to have a neighbour who grows grapes and makes wine!
These are delightful, sharp photographs revealing the process of cutting and gathering the grapes.

How many bottles of wine could be produced from these grapes?

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Chris,

What an amazingly well composed photograph! The towers of the two cathedrals appear to be communicating, diagonally above the roofs of the intervening buildings!
The f/g cathedral is bathed in evening sunlight, almost like a star on stage!
The whole photograph has an excellent clarity.

    My warm regards,

    Ciao Caro Silvio,

This is a really beautiful painting.
There is such a sense of serenity on the face of the Madonna, painted in subtle colours.
The infant child has features which are almost childlike.

    My warm regards,

    Hello Ike,

I don't think I have ever seen such a close image of one of these motor gliders!
You have captured some excellent, sharp details, for us to gain an impression of how it works.

I didn't realise there would be two people on board. Is one the pilot and the other a learner, or just a passenger, or can they share control?

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Witaj Krzysztof,

I agree, cemeteries are not morbid places, they are interesting and informative.

I like your composition of three, it fits a pleasing triangle. The f/g example is sharp and clear with a flower poignantly placed by the date.

    Hello Gert,

Your main photograph shows the priest at work and though this was attracted immediately, it was all the carved decorations and the recesses on the walls that then captured my attention.
I could not help seeing the similarity between these photographs and those I showed in Ely Cathedral, where the lighting of candles links them.

    My warm regards,

    Hello John,

I remember your traditional involvement with memorials of WWII.
You chose an excellent position to capture the service, placing the speaker strongly off-centre, but we can still see the representatives of the military and the general public.
The w/s has a sadder appeal, as the gravestones, the purpose of memorial, are all neatly placed in rows!

    My warm regards,

    Hello Jorge,

In the U.K., swallows only gather in groups, like this, when they are about to migrate to warmer countries for the winter.

You have captured an exceptionally large group of swallows; they make the wires look like fancy braid!

    Hello Jean,

More than a lighthouse, this steeple reminds me of a rocket!
The f/g looks to have quite an autumnal feel with its brown and orange hues.
The spire is strongly placed in your composition.

Is that a river in the f/g, shrouded by tall grasses?

    Hello Mariusz,

It may have been accidental but the inclusion of the sign makes a very original guide to the buildings of the town hall and eventually, the split tower of the church.
The details are crisp, the colours are well saturated and the whole photograph is very pleasing.

Originally, I thought your notes were describing the fine panoramic view that we see here! It really is a good view and you have managed to compose it well, with a guiding street and series of tall towers!
I love these bright, orange roofs. They make the place seem so warm and friendly!

    Hello Piotr,

It is sometimes difficult to create the right depth and atmosphere to something like a cave but your viewpoint has given us a fine focal point (the two figures) and from there, we can easily understand how the rocky, cliff face descends into gloom.

    Hello Paul,

Three delightful photographs which seem to tell a story.

We enter what seems like a maze of buildings, following the lead of these two, well positioned ladies. The first w/s takes us into the interior, with fine repetitive details to guide us inwards, with a final shot of a resident. I love that w/s with its secrecy, the lovely details of the open door and wondering what might be inside. (Sadly this would not have survived as a main post, which is such a pity!)

The series helps to further narrate your theme.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Gyorgy,

Each of your photographs conjures up a sense of mystery.
The curving pathway guides to what appears a tunnel of trees, though we can only speculate what might be round the corner!
Lovely details of stone fencing, edging the road, accentuated by the leaf debris.
