still perhaps a hint of what the Pentax can do, and certainly the Leical-like signature of the Limited lenses, especially the older analog FA" limiteds. There is a sweet subtlety in the drawing or rendering that you can search canon all day and never find. I have also encountered it with a Leica M mount ZM Zeiss lens, the unique and eccentric 50mm F1.5 Sonnar.
One moot point so far though is Pentax' liability (like Nion DSLRs that also sport Sony chips, to render RED as RED and not ORANGE - I am struggling with the many fine adjustments to remedy that but it's not easy. Having said that, you can shoot at 6400 ISO with the K-5 and not be rushed to hospital with chest pains ;o)
