Hello Paul,
You must have spent much longer time in Kampong Ayer than I did (it seems to have been smaller then), or you took 50 times as many photos (quite possible digitally). This main photo has a sense of speed and action that I didn't experience, and the WS building is probably nice than any I saw. And I don't remember the mangrove swamp. I think Brunei has never before been described in such details on TE.

It's hard to compare Kampong Ayer from my visit to what it looked like in your photo.
Some parts are gone now. In other places the water village has been expanded much.

I did indeed take a lot of pictures there because I find that way of living very interesting.

I went there every day of my three day visit
