Great Miks 2006-02-05 4:42

Wow! That is one stunning alpine photo. The lunar landscape and the icy blue sky makes for a great landscape photo in its own right. But the 'human touch' puts the grand landscape in perspective. I have little to say in terms of criticism. Perhaps, a lower angle allowing for some more of that sky would have been good. And it would have been nice to see the face of the second fellow as well.

Thanks for the comments - and yes it would have been nice to have got my friend's face in there.

Actually when I was resizing this picture I noticed what he is looking back to: in the far distance there are to very small figures staggering along the path - we were waiting for the rest of our group to catch up.

Ah... I think I can see them. A subjects direction of gaze is a very nice way of directing attantion to details in a scene. On this occassion I missed it though.
