This is probably the most photograph grass tuft in the whole South Island of NZ!!! I have almost the same view being the only difference the strong wind that my picture shows. The backlit grass is excellent and the glittering effect is fantastic. We, my wife and I, also had a glorious day only to find it rainy and freezing when we went around the lake and arrived at Mount Cook. Well done.

Hi Antonio
Thank you for your visit. We had bad weather in 1996 when we first visited Mt Cook, and couldn't even see where it was. But this time the weather was perfect - we stayed 2 nights at Tekapo and did a day trip to Mt Cook. There was a beautiful blue haze over everything and it was very hot too. We just loved it down there. Cheers Janice
