Not a perfect picture, but a wonderful one to start. You got good eyes for the capture the right moment when both brothers didn't have time to react yet, and brave hands to crop.
The info you gave is unclear, because Dalat has more than one lake. You may want to review your notes on these:
- DALAT is a city belongs to LAM DONG Province
- DAKLAK (or DAC LAC) is a province next to Lam Dong, with its city Ban Me Thuot.
- The name of country is VIETNAM, and the people is VIETNAMESE, not "Vietnamies".
Happy Trekking!

Thanks for the notice. I double checked it and I cant find the problem. The place was in the Dac Lak province. According to Lonely Planet the name of the lake, where we were going to is "Lak lake" - it is close to the Lak village and you are right it is near to Ban Me Thuot (which they call Buon Ma Thuot in LP). "Vietnamese" I corrected.
Hope, it is clear now :-) |

Before the fall of South Vietnam, we called Ban Me Thuot as... BAN ME THUOT. After April 1975, the winners came and changed to BUON MA THUOT. Both ways are for one same city. That's up to you to call, like when you book your flight to "Ho Chi Minh City", all airlines follow IATA rules to name this city as SGN — stands for SAIGON.
