Great pboehringer 2009-01-26 10:51

Robert,
TE is sometimes such a weird place. Bad images receive a lot of critique and then there are some very fine shots that never get attention. This post of yours with the Sphinx is now up there for several hours, 45 people already sneeked in and no one left a single word. Go figure!
Your approach to this old icon is a real novel. I like the partial take of the Sphinx and the Gizeh in the background. The B&W suits very well.
Somewhat funny setting of the camera with a shutter openning of f/4.5 and 1/800s but that could be due to a long focal length that has to compensate the fine tremors of your hands. At least I am pretty sure that you used a big focal lenght to achieve this compression.
Great shot and presentation!
Peter

Default To pboehringer: Réglages

Hello Peter,
Robert
