my english isn't so special, specially hearing someone talking. russians don't like to speak english, it is like the language of their enemy. they never were rude with you because you know their language and could tell them exactly what you can and understand why not, if it was the case. I had lots of trouble in yaroslav monastery too, because they put a woman who didn't know english to take care of the place and she wasn't able to explain me the tickets and I bought four different ones to discover what each one was... at each time I was coming back to buy another ticket I was so furious I would like to kill that girl... I remember the old woman inside the museum was laughing when I bring her the ticket to visit the place, after three attempts, being refused and beating the door with hate to take another ticket... of course I am not a placid cold man , my latin blood boils easily. anyway I had a special hate by the women who worked in russian railway stations, and they love to humiliated me too. many other troubles I had in russia because the language..
