Thanks for your nice words,Elisabeth!
Yesterday I received the follong e-mail: Hi Andreas LEO Urban, This is an automated email informing you of the following: Your photo titled, "fake cover photo, need your help" (photo1390698.htm) seems to violate the TrekEarth terms of service and therefore has been inactivated. The reason is: -Studio-like, staged or posed If the reason stated above is incorrect, please go to the following page to write an explanation and it will be researched further and possibly restored. Otherwise the photo will be removed after 1 week: http://www.www.trekearth.com/tasks/p...hp?pid=1390698 __________________________________________________ _____________ I noticed about two hours later that the photo is allready deleted and not after one week......... Maybe I come back one day(because I met so wonderful people from here in real life), but only if there is a change of the moderator team or the TOS. Thanks again and have a great weekend! Leo |

Leo, the automatically generated message following removal of a photo does say '1 week'. But you should have been able to work out that you've already had 1 week, which is more than the 'few days' you were originally given. The message means that the photo has been 'inactivated' and can still be reinstated if it's approved after a re-examination. Once it's been 'removed' an appeal can no longer be made by the member. No one has short-changed you and there's no reason to complain.
