To CMJC: Snow
Base Esperanza recorded the highest temperature ever recorded two weeks after our visit but another base now holds the record for the warmest temperature in Antarctica. It is all do to global warming. I had always thought Antarctica would be cold and snow covered. One day we did have the typical snow/sleet and I felt this is what I had been expecting.
