Hello Ian,
This is a great viewpoint, giving us a birds'-eye view of the lakes and clearly showing how the conifer forests come right up to the shoreline in all directions.
I have to ask, what sort of wild animals reside there?
Were there moose or bears?

I saw a beaver and a rare mountain bighorn sheep and there was a bear attack 2 weeks before I arrived and signs up warning of bears, but I never saw any. Neither did I see any moose. Not even an Elk, which is more common. https://thecanadianrockies.com/wildlife-viewing/
