To COSTANTINO: Lack of adequate information

There was no information about this statue on site or in my travel guide.
As a result, we can only estimate the dimensions.
Since no one was around, our only clues are the stairs at the front and the trees at the back.
Or the tree in the photo in the WS.

Thank you Chris,

I had seen that site.
It shows a very good picture of the giant Buddha.
But the information is mostly on Wat Ek Phnom, the more important ancient temple (not visible on the pic) nearby.

The only additional information about the giant statue is that construction of it has been stopped by the government because, they say, it affects the site's timeless beauty.
