Great emka 2022-03-09 23:58

hello Chris,

Beautiful beach. Interesting collected wood I see that there are araucarias there. But is this beach safe? Usually, in Australia, there were crocodiles, medusas or sharks that could kill you.
Excellent colours and sharpness.
I was on a similar beach, I do not remember where it was.
Best regrads Malgo

Default To emka: No crocs or jellyfish.

Hi Malgo

Too far south for Crocodiles and Box Jellyfish (Maryborough north), and many Qld Beaches are netted and patrolled, unlike NSW. But after the recent floods there are a lot of bacteria in the water from dead animals like cows, cats and dogs, mice, etc that drowned. Attracting sharks. So no, I didn't so swimming. Plus the water is very cloudy. So you can't see the sharks. After a few months the water will clear itself naturally. It's an okay beach to swim at in normal times.
