Or maybe they know you as a photographer who is interested in local people's everyday life. :) Anyhow, this is a good reportage of everyday life in your neighbourhood.
Is it an artificial place for skating or winters are so harsh there that man can skate on random square? :)

Thank you for your answer. Sadly enough here the winters are quite warm too. This winter however lakes were frozen.
