Who would've thought of living on a lake? And why? These houses are like islands on the lake.

To mcmtanyel: For the proximity of fish
Thank you Murat,
Fishing is the main source of income for the people living in this area. So it is best to live as close as possible to the Tonlé Sap lake. Since the lake changes enormously in size between the wet and the dry season, some prefer to live on the water. This in floating houses that can be moved by boat as the water level decreases or increases. Best regards, Paul
