I'm not sure that I understand all your notes but I get the gist of what you have to say.
The tomb is definitely one for a person of renown, created in beautiful marble. Is that a private altar for his memory, too?
I like how you have off-set the tomb with the flowers and the banner, nicely balanced by the figures on the opposite side.
It is sad about the frescoes in the w/s!
Repairs to the wall have given no reparation to the paintings!

Hi Mariusz, thank you for your critique.
I took my phone and my camera with me and their shots are mixed up in the shots I have posted. Sometimes it was easier to get the composition I wanted with my phone, sometimes, it was impossible to see the picture on my phone if the sun was strong and the camera was better then. I am amazed at the quality of the photographs on my phone. I have options of panorama, macro, portrait, slow motion ... or simply photograph! Have a good w/e, Bev :-)
