- amazing -
I've been staring at this for a while but just can't figure out what those large white things are! Fields?
I really enjoy the difference between the thumbnail of the picture and the big version. As thumbnail I thought it was a picture of a stone or some other texture, and then no! It was a picture from way on top. A brilliant idea, a wonderful capture!
TFS!

Hi Julia,
some words to your question:in the middle of the white circles we can see the villages and towns at the eastern side of Munich. It is a shining white of the snow resting on fields and meadows and out of the white circles there are mixed woods where the snow isn`t visible, dropped down from the trees.I made a similiar image some months later on a flight and it looks very different without snow, the villages and towns are hardly remarkable and are hardly differing from the surrounding fields and woods. All the best! Franz |

One word to reply to all that : woah!
:D How perfect! The idea of snow didn't even cross my mind! *puts mind into yearly service* That is indeed a brilliant way to highlight the little towns scattered around. Well spotted! And thanks for sharing! Julia |
