Hi Ryan,
Wonderful to see the harsh contrast between the white of the sign and the dark grey of the surrounding aire. The composition with the slightly tilted sign and the line of the railroad is just wonderful.
Always hard to get enough tone levels in greyscale. There are some lines in the skyline to the lower left where one grey tone merges into the next one. I wouldn't know how to handle that. Did you work in 100% desaturated images or greyscale? Or did you keep some colour information in your pp? Just wondering.

To Dpbours: greyscale vs color
I changed it to monotone while adjusting the RAW file. Then in Photoshop I added a slight sepia photo filter, for that reason I didn't convert it to grayscale. I noticed the merge lines too; it always seems to happen when I adjust the levels or contrast in the sky of a B&W image.

Yes, that is true! (the contrast in B/W). I always take care of the contrast and levels before the B/W conversion, then you won't have the lines. The number of tone levels in greyscale are much less than in colour data... Greetings! Dennis
