Great mkamionka 2022-06-17 1:38

Hi Jorge,
Nice presentation from the historic exhibition.
Yes the world is really going backwards. I never laugh at people not knowing something because myself I have very shprt memory and keep forgetting even basic stuff. However what is worrying that the people who get in power are not even trying and being not very smart they don't choose right advisors neither. This is quite dramatic for the future of the whole world. Being ignorat became fashionable. Of course it is not even sustainable because even to ensure everybody gets a phone you need to have at least a couple of educated people who understand what is actually inside.
It is getting worse, I was in despair when the pandemic started, I really hoped the people will start appreciating science. The scientists didn't help actually because those who were and still are shouting the loudest and keep advising politicians or are active in media, they usually have least to say.
Hearing stupid scientists in media of course makes simple people to confirm their negative stereotypes about scientists.
Very inspiring upload,

Default To mkamionka: modern times

the social media gave many people the opportunity to express their ignorance and opportunity to other ignorant to agree with them creating nets of ignorance. In the past the political leaders were more prepared people, nowadays any idiot can be a leader, what is important is having charisma and move the idiots at his-her favor.

take care
