Great Lisas_world 2006-02-25 7:36

I love how the blur gives this a dreamy effect of time past.. very apropos of your note. How sad that people are so willing to sacrifice natural beauty for profit.. but I don't want to get sappy here. Nice little spot, Grav, and lucky you caught it while it was still 'untouched.' But darn, I wish you would not put your subjects smack in the middle all the time. (Just bitching :))

Default To Lisas_world: In the middle

SIde effect of the the square format. It's a bit prone to it. I suspect that is why I do like using the square cameras though. It's my way of rebelling against the rule of thirds. ;-)

I'm all for breaching rules, it is just that the house seems to be 'looking left' (because of the light direction) and my eye naturally wants the balance of its 'view.'

Actually, I didn't realize the camera had a square format. I thought the photos were cropped. I will keep that in mind from now on.
