Alex, too much water and not enough bird. And it looks a bit over-sharpened. Nice effort but you could cut out a third of the water and produce a much stronger image. Paul.

I totally agree with you Paul (Rushfan). However, with this kind of framing, I just wanted to show the space rather than the bird itself. And you are absolutely correct. This photo is oversharpened to compensate the softness of the Canon 75-300mm lens.
