Good russte 2006-11-06 11:24

Hi Alain, an interesting perspective indeed and I have no complaint with this homage to your weary feet. But I'm not sure that the nasty plastic bottle of water contributes much to the image. OK, I understand that it may not have been possible to order a long pina colada or gin & tonic(!), but I think the plastic bottle not only detracts from the feet but the beautiful elusive capture of those characters at the shore line. And those nice, simple and delicate details in the sky. Congratulations though on trying something different (even if it ruins your gallery!!!). Stephen

Default To russte: nasty plastic bottle

Hi Stephen,

Thanks for stopping by.
The presence of the water bottle is twofold:
1. I don't drink alcohol.
2. As this could have been shot anywhere, the bottle and the "Kingfisher" trademark just sets context

Thanks,
Alain -

Hi Alain, thanks for the reply. I only meant the pina colada or the g&t as a photographic prop. . . ;-) Best wishes Stephen
