Very colorful to be sure. Nice simple portait here. It looks like you were working in pretty bad light here, very bright and contrasty. Obviously softer light would work better. Overall, I think the whole photo is slightly overexposed, but this is a pleasing shot overall.

To Darren: Over exposed
Thanks Darren. It was one of those days when BDE or Broad Daylight Exposure wasn't working for me. The event was just an hour before noon and the sun was staring hot on the street. Harsh light and deep shade, just doesn't give us that much to play with. The fact is, the lady was standing under an "umbrella" and it just makes things worst. At times like this, you just have to concentrate on getting that face and her danglings beads.
