Very interesting shot of showing the man and the child in this vertical diagonal with shadow to force my eye to them more strongly. Good B&W work.
I like your composition of making the crack line starting from bottom left corner, a well thought plan, perhaps you can do similarly to the top right by a little rotation?

You're absolutely right Bill, I should have cropped a little my picture in order to get a line starting from the top right angle. Good photograph eye and advisor!
