Hello Roger,
This architecture is absolutely wonderful and reminds me at desert architecture you can find in Morocco and Yemen (and probably in other places in the world).
Interesting framing with the walls of the houses on the foreground.
Are these buildings 1000 years old as you wrote in your previous note?

Apparently it is, more or less. It was believed to have been built between 1000 and 1460 CE.
