Great snunney 2016-11-24 2:19

Hello Bulent,
I don't know what the collective noun is for a group of flamingos but they certainly make for a lovely photographic subject in this nicely illuminated composition. Very agreeable colours and good clarity. I have mixed views about zoos - wild animals are obviously much freer in their own environment where they are able to roam at will. On the other hand zoos are one way of ensuring the continuation of species that might otherwise die out. They also allow people to see animals that they would not otherwise encounter.

Default To snunney: zoos

Stephen, you verbalized perfectly how I feel about zoos. Ambivalence! Indeed, I often feel sad in seeing these creatures "locked up," but in the case of these flamingos, those lions next door will never feast on them in such compartmalized and segregated groupings.
