yeah this waterfall is on my list as well, i'll get to it in August when i visit Iceland again.
so what or where are you standing? are you on a bridge or the landscape? this looks like the perfect place for a slow shutter speed.
I see you gave it 1/2 a second, works for me, looks great.
the blue/grey clouds work well as a contrasting element up top. nice shot. cheers

Hi Craig,
Thanks a lot for your kind words! Here I was standing on a cliff similar to the one on the rights side of the photo. It's a big tourist attraction, so you may have to deal with huge hords of tourists, but this place is definitely worth a visit. There's a bridge a bit further down the river, so you can take photos from the other side as well. I'm looking forward to seeing you photos from your next trip! (: Cheers, Marci
