Great macjake 2021-06-20 13:49

Hi Bev
my wife asked me yesterday..."are buttercups weeds?" I'm not sure...do you know? when I see fields like this, it makes me want to have a dog and let the dog run wild :) love the hills that seemingly go on for infinity. lovely and picturesque ws photo too. cheers
Craig

Default To macjake: Buttercups

Thanks for your critique, Craig.
In answer to the question, weeds are flowers in the wrong place!

My garden is filled with wild Welsh poppies. I just love them but they seed themselves and are not planted in any order. Some people call them weeds, myself and the bees love them for their bright colours!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Default Buttercups

Hi Craig and Brenda,
Buttercups are weeds in the sense that cows don't like to eat them, so they are not quite welcome in pastures. But I guess in other senses they are mostly harmless.
