Hola Jose,
I hope this then little kid is now a grown-up, successful young lady, who have left difficult times back in time and ready to explore days ahead like her fellow brothers/sisters in other parts of the world.
nice photo TFS.

Jose,
This is a photography site and to badly scan a 16 year old photo does nothing to teach photography. Seems like you want some praise for being a humanitarian. Good for you, bad for photography.
No exif data, No tips on photography, No technical data whatsoever.
About as useless as your 30+ fake accounts on TrekLens.
Your a phony.

Hi Jose,
I just came across your interesting gallery and I must admit that this little child has my sympathy. I would like to thank you for sharing this document - although of no high quality. This photo reminds us that we human beings have created a world that is sometimes not to bear. From my point of view a great contribution in the best spirit of TE!
Warm regards

Hello Jose.
First, I am embarrassed by the rude comments of Scott Hale. I can't see why TE cannot accommodate this kind of series of photos which are well intentioned. After all, we have photographers who upload nothing but shots of a single tree, or countless aerial views of Istanbul, and many other eccentricities and specialisations.
The technical quality is nothing special, but there is nothing wrong with reminding TE members of the other, usually hidden world of poverty and despair. I hope you can continue with the work you are doing.
Regards,
Andrew

Jose, I have been absent from TE for sometime... Life just gets in the way. :) I wanted to take the moment of free time to comment here. I wanted to say that your photography has meaning and is valid on this site. TE is learning about the world through photography...NOT learning photography through the world, though we all do learn quite a lot of photography skills from being on this site...it is not the purpose. This child does have sadness in her eyes. Even without your note, you would see the sadness. I learn so much about the world through your photojournalism. The photos may be old and scanned... But they are much more poignant than a photo from the latest digital technology. They are real, they have meaning and you should be proud that you are trying to make others aware. I count myself lucky to have seen your work. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Kind Regards, Leilani

Olá José
O que impressiona é que após 15, 20, 30 anos, estas histórias repetem-se.
