Pendjari, a photo from Atakora, North

Photographer's Note

Pendjari National Park in the north of Benin is the best you can get if you head for a safari in West-Africa.
And although you won't see the masses of Kenia or Kruger there is a lot to enjoy.
There are cheetahs, leopard and lions, although only the last one is regular been seen. Seeing elephants is a good change and lots of crocodiles, hippo's, warthogs, baboons and different sorts of antilope are certain catches for the photograph.
Here you see a group of cranes and a warthog family near a little pool.

Hello Gerrit,
A pleasing composition of this little gathering by the waterhole. The yellow and brown tones of the vegetation denote quite an arid landscape where the animals have to make the best of the available water.

An excellent framing for this beautiful nad interesting view full of life with the births and the another animals. The colors of the birth arise very well in the nice harmony of warm colors of the vegetation.

Dag Gerrit,

Kraanvogels and wratte zwijnen op een foto is al een hele prestatie.
Blijkbaar gaat de een drinken en de andee groep verlaat de drinkplaats.
Moet plezierig zijn om zo dicht te kunnen fotograferen.
Ooit ben ik eens aangevallen door een kraanvogel, hij pikte recht in de lens waardoor ik zelf gespaard bleef.
Goed foto werk, bedankt.
