Kobs and crocs, a photo from Atakora, North

Photographer's Note

"Take care", mother Kob seems to say to her child that she keeps behind her. Crocodiles don't need that much food and mostly they are just sleeping in the sun on the bank of this lake in Pendjari National Park in North Benin.
But you never know when they are hungry.

A very sympatic shot with the mother and the young animal. The "attitudes" of the two animals are very well collected. i like too the very plesanat harmony in the warm colors of this shot.

They look smaller than their australian cousins the Salties but probably have powerful teeth as well so better hide begind the long end of the lens ! Nice nature picture

Almost a mono-chromatic shot, well composed (I think it's the result of a crop).
A curious scene, the mother-cob seems to check the croks while the pet hide himself behind her.

Bien prise cette photo de la mčre et son petit, une scčne intéressante et toujours beau ŕ voir. Attention! je n'avais pas vu les crocodiles au début. Belle gestion de la lumičre. Je me demande toujours pourquoi l'eau n'est jamais bleue dans ce coin du globe.
