Romantic getaway, a photo from Boa Vista, Barlavento

Photographer's Note

After photos related to my Cape Verdean adventures now few shots which illustrate why tourists really visit Boa Vista or Sal. Our plane to Boa Vista flew over Canary Islands. We have seen Tenerife surrounded by a thick layer of clouds, but after two more hours flight south from Tenerife the clouds were quite rare and the sun nearly guaranteed. Boa Vista has endless beaches with fine clean perfect sand. I was hypnotized by the colour of water. I took hundreds of photos of the water itself trying to capture its colour, it never stopped to amaze me. Of course, for you here I will try to select photos which show something else in addition to the water ha ha. Here, for example, a not so young anymore couple holding hands while walking along the beach. We have celebrated with my wife on this trip the 20th anniversary of our marriage in addition to my wifes birthday. It is a great destination for a romantic getaway or a family trip. By the way it is not us in the photo, just a random couple passing by.

This picture was taken along Praia de Lacacăo. It was the beach next to the hotel I stayed in, Hotel Riu Touareg. If you would check the location of the hotel on the satellite photo, you would see that the resort is located in the middle of nowhere. The only people you could meet on this beach were tourists.

Hello Mariusz, an idyllic scene. The colours of the sea are beautiful, and I am not surprised that you were captivated by them. The couple are perfectly placed in the composition, and the lady in her red bikini makes the perfect eye catcher!

Lep pogled i trenutak, interesantan i dobar tekst ...
Lepa plaza i talasi, dobro pokaznao sa lepim boajma, kontrastom, perspektivom i uhvacenim trenutkom sa setacima.

Hello Mariusz,
Wonderful ocean colour with different tones of blue. You probably see different types of green on your screen :)
The irregular waterline and the wave in the foreground create a beautiful composition.
I know a lot of people travel for this kind of experience.

A great view of the wide, vast ocean with its different blue colours and the clear sand of the beach in the foreground. The two people are well included, walking romantically along the shoreline.

these isolated resorts are like islands of civilization and safety in the poor countries and are ever complained because they are an illusion island. anyway it is a nice place to enjoy beach and relax moments, but not good to really know the country and its people and culture.
marvelous view of the beach, we have a desire to be there, there is a cold rain at this moment here. haha.

The azure colour of the water is repeated in some parts of the Mediterranean but you won't see water like this in the North Sea or the Baltic. Good inclusion of the couple to animate the scene. Tfs!
