An interesting and unusual abstract composition. They look very stormy these clouds. I like the play of light and shade and the sculptured effect.

Sea shoreline well distinct in view from above the clouds, Wolfgang.
marvelous taken through the plane window.
Those clouds are called "Sheep's clouds", as they form like a balls of strings.

What a view from hi above i think it would be very interesting to learn what this type of cloud formation is called. You have processed the clouds a stronger colour and it does the trick wonderfully, a moment grabbed timely. Well done, Congrats.

Hello Wolfgang, at the moment I was thinking that this post is related to the airplane crash on Sinai, but no, you just went over Egypt. did you go for holidays on the Nile or farther?
Interesting picture from the plane, I also try to do something, rarely the result is interesting.

so it seems you have just returned from Egypt. This is a nice pattern of the clouds. I never was able to take a decent shot from a plane.
Quite a dangerous place for vacations nowadays I guess, but you have survived.
