In the middle of nowhere, a photo from Adrar, North

I don't have much to explain about this photo. I took it in the middle of the Amatlich dunes, the feeling of loneliness and immensity was unique. With the wind, your footsteps disappeared within 2 minutes.

La photo parle d'elle męme je pense. Je l'ai prise au milieu des dunes de l'Amatlich; un endroit ou l'impression de solitude et d'immensité est impressionant. Avec le vent, les empruntes de pas disparaissaient en 2 minutes.

Juste fabuleuse, la silhouette nous montre parfaitement l'immensité du lieux !
Si je devais tenter quelque chose sur cette photo ce serait un recadrage pour équilibrer le ciel et les dunes (voir WS)

Just fabulous, the guy on the dune shows the extend of this place !
If I would try something on this picture it would be to crop a little bite the lowest part to balance the sky and the dunes (see workshop)

superbe image du désert, les détails du sable sur lees dunes sont préservés. Trčs jolie graphiquement, le personnage tout au fond donne également bien cette notion d'immensité.

I'd like to know if u've made passing this desert on foot?
or u where with a guide that broght u to this point & then turned u back?
the patterns on the hill steepy side look like hirogliff standing human poses.
yr shot is so much impressing.

Hi Sebastien:

With just the dunes, this would be another charming shot of a desolate place. The lone traveller out on the far dune makes the shot though--gives it a sense of scale and depth that would be missing otherwise. One of the best shots of dunes I've seen. Well done.
