Photographer's Note
Come late afternoon the market square in Marrakesh is transformed--the jugglers and acrobats and snake-charmers give way to makeshift trestle-top restaurants. There's so much atmosphere you can smell it and taste it and see it, so much smoke it almost blocks out the sun, and what's left of the light isn't just something that illuminates other things, it's worth photographing in itself. Even with a good prime lens, though, I lost about half my shots to flare.

Hi Davie.
A very fine photo, beautifully layered despite the tendency toward full silhouette--the exposure is just enough to avoid the blocking out of the foreground. Beautiful!
And "lost to flare"? I remember a time when flare was not reason enough to lose an image :)

Trčs bonne photo d'ambiance avec son agitation, ses fumées et ses lampes allumées.On devine le bruit et les odeurs...Trčs chouette photo!

I like the 'layered' appproach you've used here Davie. Your minimalist palette emphasises the layers well. Did you try any of the food?
