Photographer's Note
All visitors have noticed that the walls of Marrakech are splendid, not only with their architecture and color but also with the life that is around them. This particular door attracted my attention because of the light and shade and colors combined forming interesting patterns. But I wanted some life to go with it. The traffic of cars, pedestrians and bicycles crossing the door was intense, and I soon realized that it would not be easy to " catch " a bicycle at the right moment. With patience a half a dozen spoiled exposures, I finally got this one. There was also a problem with exposure, and the reason that the walls are a bit dark is because I wanted a silhouette of the bicycle.

With Patience, and concrete ideas, you become a creator, like a painter or in this case, a good photographer, because a good picture, like a good painting, must imperativelly have :
Composition
Good shapes on four corners
Good colors
Good subject.
If one is missing, specially the good subject, then your picture is incomplete. No?

Hi Izzet,
Beautiful walls indeed ! The fact that they're a bit dark is not a problem for me here... It emphasize the light and shadow plays. The silhouette of the bike goes perfectly with it, I like it a lot !
The only thing is that maybe I would have preferred to see more of the top of the walls... i'm not sure...
Well done,
Cheers,
Youssef.

Beautiful picture with superb colours. The the bike makes it look even more peacefull and actually more human. Is it his shadow or his "real" silhouette?

Hello Izzet ,
a beautiful picture,
very graphic shapes and beautiful colors of Morocco.
the image is not very sharp but it is not a big problem here,
the good idea and the right moment makes this picture works.
Nice job.

what else can I say, fantastic shot, what a combination of old architectures, graphism, colour, light and life. All the ingredients are good, but mixed together they are even better.

Mükemmel düşünce mükemmel kompozisyon. En çok hoşuma giden özellikle sol üstten bisikletliye doğru vertikal inen gölge oldu. Zekice bir çalışma. Selamlar, saygılar.

Very good composition Izzet! Love the simple graphic quality and the choice to silouette the bike. I only wish the sharpness was better.

And it came out so arttractive, Izzet. THe silhouette is caught in its best position, and it is hard to say if the bike are real or is it shadow. The walls are great with the lond shadow and the strong colors.

Wow! A perfect composition, with the shadow on the wall...it is a shadow, right? Oh I see from you note that it is a silhouette....looks almost like a shadow. Great composition.

Not too sharp, but another cool shot from you, even the biker seems a shadow. Good and patient work!
