Photographer's Note
In Morocco, as opposed to many other Islamic countries, non-muslims are generally not allowed into the Mosque's. While I understand that people desire to conduct their religious activities in undisturbedly the rule it is slightly frustrating as the architechture of many of the mosques is second to none.
This pic of a guy entering and one putting on his shoes was taken stabilizing the cam on an opposite wall. I didn't set the white balance in order to get som noise which is sometimes contributes to a when converion from colour to B/W. But, after much work in PS, is decided to go for this 60% desaturation. I find the result quite moody...

Yes, the noise and very soft outline of these man makes it very moody and I like the partly desaturated hue. The very centered subject works well here.

Superb. Your partial desaturation has resulted in a mysterious and atmospheric image. The receding arches give a sense of depth. Since you used the full 800 pixels height, I had to download it to see the full picture on my monitor -- but it was worth it.

This is really good. I like the noice in the picture and the composition. It has atmosphere.
