Hello Patrice,
The bl/w is even more powerful than the colour version, I think. The atmosphere reminds me of Japanese 1950's movies...which obviously have nothing to do with Marrakech, except that I like both. Lots of great shots in your Morocco gallery!

Dancing in the rain? I don't suppose so. :))
Superb presentation in B&W.

Il fallait sortir sous ce déluge.

Fantastic rain shot, one of the best I have seen in BW. Sorry I don't remember the color version but the dark contrasty tones enhance the rain lashes.
Absolutely appropriate comparison by Benny : something from the japanese movies indeed. Only that lamp silhouette gives the north african flavor.
It goes into my favs.

Hi Patrice,
Good choice of B&W color for this scene.. i like the way rain water is captured in motion as straight lines.. excellent sharpness..and well composed..

What a great, moody image, Patrice. I don't remember seeing a shot that gives such strong 'wet wet wet' feeling. A splendid composition and wonderful tonalities!

bonjour Patrice

Wow! The water almost flooded my computer monitor here! Great rainy shot! I just cant imagine that weather condition in Marrakech, every time I visited that fantastic place was hot and very sunny, so that shot is amazing for me for that reasons.regards. Mac

Mes compliments.

Hi Patrice,
What an absolutely great mood this shot has. I love the tones and all the details like the lamps, and the person and their umbrella are so well framed in the composition. A perfect subject for black and white. An looking at your shot I am really looking forward to my trip to Morocco in August. Nice work!

Hi Patrice!
I like this! Surely a different way to see Marrakech. The handicraft framing the photo really take us to Morrocco and the rain falling is perfect. Very good composition. I like it in B&W!

Hi Patrice,
Wonderful view. Narrow alley, heavy rain and backlight make a combination that is hard to beat. There's so many details, silhouette under the umbrella is perfectly anonymous and fits with a bit mysterious feeling. And so does B&W of course.

I like how the rain is "frozen" by your picture. The moment i really well caught! It's weird to see Marrackech under such rain...it looks like monsoon in south east asia.

Hi Patrice,
Fantastic rain shot here. It's not that often that we see so much rain drop in a photo. I like the shadows of the lamps, they make the photo quite exotic.

Possibly - the best 'rain man' photo I've ever seen...
A quintessence of everything the rain has to offer (photography wise - that is).
Flawless presentation.
