Photographer's Note
Today we visited Dindefelo WAterfall.
Dindefelo is located about 35k south of Kedougou at the base of the Guinean plateau. It is a relatively small but well-equipped Pulaar village with a middle school, health post, and a weekly luumo market that functions as the economic and social center of this rural, mountainous region. Nestled into the mountains that form the border with Guinea, Dindefelo is a sprawling village of round mud huts and a center for Pula Futa culture. indefelo is best known for its natural beauty; in the village its impossible to escape the surrounding mountains of the Guinean plateau. A 40-minute hike through lush forest brings you to the Dindefelo waterfall, a 100m graceful chute that appears seemingly from nowhere. The area recently became a protected natural reserve for chimpanzees and is a haven for bird-watchers as well. There is a natural pool under the waterfall. The water was warm enough and I could swim.

Hello dear Malgo,
Another topclass capture and perfect TH entry in your gallery.
Good format -whic fits well to your compo- and perfect sharpness. If it would be taken in summer months, most probably we would be able to see also some swimmers under the waterfall.
Interesting notes.
TFS and best regards

Hello Malgo,
So you've reached Ana's waterfall :)
The water is crashing on different places from that huge rock wall and the inclusion of the trees makes the view even more attractive.
A hike of 40 minutes is still very feasible but perhaps it's very hot and humid there. Anyway you were rewarded with a pool whose water had a pleasant temperature.
Best regards, Paul

Ciao Malgo, this it's very interesting,i never been there and i never thought to find something like that in the interior of Senegal. But there are some tourists too as i can see. Magnificent pic, very sharp and bright and showing the big waterfall in an imposing perspective. Have a nice new trip today and thanks,Luciano

WOW, a fantastic cascade, Malgo, and your presentation of this was immaculately done when considering the variable light and the range from top to bottom of the cliff.
Awesome location, a small heaven for photographers.
Cheers,

Hello Malgo,
You seem to be really enjoying your trip to Africa and that's as it should be. I visited Africa several times in the past, though not West Africa, but I have to say I have no burning desire to go back there again. I like the view through the trees and the presence of the people who enliven the scene and give the composition scale.

Hi dear Malgo,
Again, another fascinating and informative note and a brilliant photograph to illustrate it. And not only did you come to see this amazing waterfall but you also took the opportunity to bathe and to swim in its warm waters. I can imagine that the hike through the forest must have been wonderful too.
I suppose it's a pity that all of the people I see in your photograph appear to be white tourists but I presume that this place is fairly remote from the local peoples' villages.
I love your composition, the dark wet rocks making a fine foreground while the reddish laminated rocks of the cliffs with the waterfall fill the rest of the frame. Glorious light and colours and excellent details and sharpness.
Lovely!
Kindest Regards,
John.

Dear Malgo,
There is very similar waterfall in Austria. Until I didn't read your note, I thought it is the very same. :)
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hello Malgo,
This is a beautiful photo. It's a great view and it's a very well composed photo. The persons are spread out from close to us all the way up to the cascades of water, which gives the photo nice depth. Trees and bushes frame the view well, the light is well handled, the tourists make the view quite lively and the sharpness is perfect.
Kind regards,
Gert

Piekna atrakcja, i sam wodospad i skaly dookola ze wspaniala struktura robia rzeczywiscie wrazenie.
PS. Im mniejsza grupa tym lepiej sie zwiedza, ja mialem tez tylko 24 osoby, szkoda tylko, ze na wszystkich zdjeciach mam tego samego pana w czerwonych spodenkach :)

Hello Malgo,
A fantastic photo of this impressive waterfall. I suppose the light wasn't very favourable, but you did a great job handling it. It got nicely filtered by the canopy of leaves. The texture of the rocks makes a great background too and the people provide a good sense of scale.

Czesc Malgorzata,
pewnie nielatwo byloby tam zrobic zdjecie bez ludzi.
Pozdrawiam serdecznie,
M

Hi, Malgo.
Impressive this carata, which falls from a great height through this rocky vertical wall, ideal for the greenness of the branches of the trees, which interact very well with the color of the rocks, tourists arrive at the most recondite places.
A magnificent color, which gives the image a lot of chromatic richness.
Very good management of lighting and sharpness.
Well done. I like it.
You have a good day.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hello Malgo,
You found a cool, green refreshing oasis in a hot and arid place! Looks like sometimes parts of the cliffs collapse judging from the rubble. A huge slab of Navagio Beach cliffs on Zakynthos recently came down injuring people. Fortunately nobody was killed. The people animate the scene and sharpness is excellent. Tfs!

Hello Malgo, looking at this shot I would never, for some reason, have guessed that it was somewhere in Africa!
I like all the details, and the people animate your scene nicely.
Interesting note too.
