After the rain...IV, a photo from Tambacounda, East

Another photo of the road that connects Kedougou to Segou, in the South of the country, near the border with Guinnee Conacry. During the rain season, it gets sometimes difficult for many people who have to use it daily. We took a few hours to reach our destination, several kms far and our 4X4 got stuck in a puddle, it took some time for the drivers to take it out from there.

Charming daily life moment. I wonder how deep tyhe water is on that puddle! You have perfect timing with the family on that motorcycle just going round the puddle.

Hello Ana,

I can imagine how long it would take to negotiate this track, if drivers have to circumvent such enormous puddles every few hundred metres! You have really emphasised the obstruction, by showing the motorcycle driving at a right angle to the road!
There is a lovely reflective detail in the puddle, whilst the other cyclists help to move attantion from f/g to b/g.

Looking for the right detour, to avoid the big puddle, Ana, a nice scene on the rural road.
Dangerous ride, not only because of the mud, forest all around - but also I reckon only the driver has a helmet, what about the mother and child?
Caught a perfect moment while maintaining depth and clarity.

Bonjour Ana,

Je crois bien que ce motocycliste est aussi bien de faire le tour de la flaque de pluie, sinon il risque la noyade. Et dire que 10 minutes de soleil rendront la route toute poussiéreuse.

A superb daily life scene of the flooded road crossing in Senegal. Good sharpness & nice reflections in the water. The man & woman on the motorcycle with their child make a good focal point. Tfs!
