Curiosity..., a photo from Tambacounda, East

Photographer's Note

Here we were following the road, almot reaching the border with Gambia. Tourists are very rare on the eastern part of Senegal, so people are curious when they see us, especially children in the countryside. These two were playing in the fields and they came closer to the road, as soon as they noticed that we were passing.

Ola Ana,
Your title perfectly descibes the situation, those kids "emerged" through the bushs and came to see what an attraction happened in their village... looking at some object behind you, not at th camera.
The kid with orange shirt pooloing his broyther/mate to come along.
Verdant surrounding is a beautiful backdrop's.

its so cute how he's basically hiding behind the taller boy and sneaking a peak around his back.

What a lovely scene. The two kid look at you really interested. Must be great to travel in the places with no tourists, to see the real life. Nicely composed picture, good colours and sharpness. Interesting scene.

This is a charming photograph.
These two, shy, curious children are pin sharp as they peep cautiously from the safety of the trees.
I just love how the foliage makes the perfect frame for them.

J'aime beaucoup le titre, car il convient ŕ merveille ŕ cette image. Ils n'osent pas encore approcher mais je crois qu'ils vont tenter le coup. Le cadrage est excellent.

The curiosity one can encounter in far remote places is quite charming indeed. The curiosity of these two boys is quite palpable here. Framed by the bushes and partly hidden in the grass they provide for a truly adorable scene.

Even the body language of these kids says curiosity, this is a very sweet and innocent moment to capture. The scene looks really natural too. Great timing with your camera and good on your eyes to catch this photo.

amazing expressions and body language, so spontaneous and eloquent, children's universal language without words. I like very much the also spontaneous way in which you returned the curious glances, a fleeting impression that will surely bring you back a lot of memories about your journey on that road.
