Fishing at sunset..., a photo from Dakar, West

My first post of Dakar. I took this photo the day we returned in a very nice place by the sea, where there are lots of little restaurants with terraces. It was a nice evening, with lots of locals around and these two were trying to get some fish.

Very tasty image full of poetics! You well utlized a warm and weak sunset light, that makes this image so moody. Two fishermen are so nice accnet. Greatest shot indeed!

quelle vue de ces pęcheurs sur la jetée et ce mur la mer bouge et quel tonalité douce quel reflets de la lumirče sur l'eau et lsur le boar avec ces vagues sueprbe.

Hello Ana

Wonderful light. You've resisted the temptation to include the sun itself in the frame, probably wisely. For me, the concrete (?) structure on the right takes up a little too much of the frame: a bit of extra zoom, or a few steps forward (into the sea!), or even a 10 degree re-frame to the left to include more of that dramatic sea may work. But then you include the sun...

Hi Ana,
Beautiful sunset light. Sky and waves have special, not very saturated colours. Fishermen make excellent main focal point. But that place looks scary. With such waves it seems that they could be washed away any second.

A great capture before end of day portraying those avid anglers which seems not to be bothered by any weather conditions A fine balanced image with attractive bg overwhelmed by dramatic pounding waves, the clarity is manageable enhanced by wonderful tones. Fantastic full of drama with lovely touch of golden glow. Superb lens work, Congrats
