In Poland, we still celebrate Christmas, today is Boxing Day. The weather is awful, it rains, so it is better to return to sunny and warm Senegal.

Another nothing special from Ziguinchor. The scene from the same market as earlier.

I can't open my main computer, I use my netbook. What to do the whole day? and so there is so much food left, who will eat it when we are alone? Crazy day.

Like most children in your Senegal photos this woman looks very bored, but at least she should have a reason for it. It can't be much fun sitting in the street all day selling very little. But she, and the woman beside her, are beautifully dressed, just perfectly for a photo. The pink façade of the small restaurant provided a colourful background.

Hello Malgo,
A very good impression of this street corner and the lady in orange patiently waiting for all her vegetables to get sold. The colours are very appealing, apart from her orange dress, we get the blue foreground, the green vegetables and the pink restaurant on the other side of the street as well.

Hello Malgo,
A nice description of the day after. Here we call boxing day second Christmas day. So that the young people can visit their parents one day and go to their parents-in-law the next day.
But if you're older the children come on the first Christmas Day and on the second you have to make up all the leftovers yourself.

Nothing wrong with posting photos from Africa, keep them coming, I'm sure we all enjoy them. Nice to have the store front in the bg, its a wonderful complimentary subject and really does complete the scene. Glad too, the woman is wearing orange, imagine if she were wearing green hahaha. Hello Malgo,

Yesterday my caps lock wasn't working after I deleted some duplicate programs after running a cleanup program with Total AV, but it seems to be working okay today. Dont worry, I am sure the food will be eaten or given to hungry neighbors, speaking of which at least you don't have to try and sell it in a street market to survive like the lady in this image. The red carp sign has faded to an orange colour which matches the woman's clothing. Tfs!

Colorful Africa! You observed a very nice mix of orange, blue and green and took the chance, to include the name of the pink restaurant, I think this is the picture I like most of all your Africa photos.
A friend of mine returned from Botswana begin of December, and I had the chance to see her photos last week: lots of animals, the so-called "big five" and others, but only a few people. I like it the other way round.

Hello Malgo,

Christmas can be so wasteful if there is too much food for the number of people present! Fortunately there were twelve of us at my daughter's and the food was much appreciated. There was enough to satisfy us for Christmas Day and Boxing Day and still some for sandwiches the next day! Nothing wasted, I'm pleased to say!

This lady doesn't seem to have many customers!
We can feel her boredom as she sits waiting to sell her produce!
Time stands still when you have nothing to do and you have captured this mood well in a fine composition.
