Photographer's Note
This is a picture of the eclipse of the moon that occurred last month. I had to overexpose this photo in order to get the detail of the darker half. The two stars below the moon are:
Alpha2 Librae (brightest) which is 77 Light-years away from the earth and about 1.8 time the brightness of the sun;
and
Alpha1 Librae which also 77 Light-years away from the earth but with a brightness of about 0.19 times that of the sun

Nice try!About the note i know that the closest star to us is 4.3 light years not 1.9 maybe it is a typo.In my humble opinion the overexposed part of the moon spoils the general image.I like astrophotography never tried yet ,i don;t have the equipment needed :( Keep shooting :)

With a one second exposure, the rotation of the Earth has deformed the moon and the stars, the only way to do it is under exposing or to add to your tripod an equatorial mounting with engine which follows the movement of planet.
In comparison with the other photographs published on the eclipse of the moon, yours is a little fuzzy.
