Photographer's Note
Yesterday I heard that Nelson Mandela was admitted to hospital, today I read with relief that he has gone home.At 93 years of age he looks very frail but still manages to smile in his inimitable, radiant way. May his "light" be with us for ever.
I was inside his former home and the most chilling thing I saw there were the marks on the floor of a brick wall(now demolished to facilitate movement) that had been built inside the house and running parallel to the window in order to stop the bullets from killing him or members of his family.Of course there were bullet holes on the outside brickwork- all a reminder of man's inhumanity to man.
"There is only one way in which one can endure man's inhumanity to man and that is to try, in one's own life, to exemplify man's humanity to man." Alan Paton

Hello Klaudio,
A timely post supplemented by a powerful note. The wild growth is an effective way to frame the image on the lower edge.
Warm regards,

Bonsoir Klaudio,
Trčs belle composition de ces musiciens. Les herbes ŕ l'avant font un trčs beau premier plan. L'hommage ŕ M. Mandela est trčs ŕ propos et je lui souhaite également un bon rétablissement.

Hi Klaudio.
A dynamic and colorful shot, with the lavender making a great foreground. Good light falling on the colours and dark skin. I wonder who they are. Excellent note - let's hope he's not quite done yet, and home life revives him.
Regards,
Andrew

Merhaba Klaudio, a great choice to upload at the right time. Staying in prison for nearly 30 years and then being honored by the nobel prize for peace is a ridiculous contradiction, isn't it? Wonderful colors and composition as usual, I loved the musicians arising from the levander bush in the fg. Have a nice we.

Hi Klaudio, I missed this one.. but remember hearing the news of Mr Mandelas illness. thankfully it was not too serious and he was home soon after the operation. This man has affected many millions of others lives.. a truely amazing Stateman.. and while he continues to share his life on this planet, I feel we should all be grateful TFS Rich

Hi dear Klaudio,
You're capturing well this scene by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see musicians who are performing in front of a Mandela's house. There, a feeling of a lively motion peculiar to African music is felt. I know only he is anti-apartheid activist, and don't know well about the detail/career. However, he is a splendid person with the fact in respect of the record of having melted the multi-ethnic nation and having collected the country.
Have a nice day.
Kind regards,
mikio

Hello Klaudio
I see troubadours sprouting out of ground performing an ode to a very "grounded" old man that all of us know and mourn now.
Hava g'day.
