Photographer's Note
The same kids and place as in my yesterday photo. But you can see here the beautiful wooden door. Ther buildings that are now hotels are nicely renovated, with beautiful interiors. other buildings are in a rather bad state, as here.
I was curious about what NCDP means. Strange, I found NCDP National Coconut Development Programme.
In my earlier note, I put the letters in the wrong order.
In Workshops, just two snapshots from the street, nothing special.

Hello Malgo,
This is a surprise but very interesting to learn that the rights of everyone are being addressed.
The door is amazing!
Is it one with the Indian influences?
I like how you have included human interest as well as revealing the huge, grand door.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Malgo,
Nice kids, but the girl looks like she was threatening to shoot you. It wasn't possible to see in yesterday's photo that there was such a fine door in this building. It is possibly the most famous door in Stone Town. There are many photos of it on Internet.
Put you made a mistake in the note. The sign says NCDP, not NCPD. And the NCPD you refer to is a Kenyan organization, not Tanzanian. ;-)
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Malgo,
The presence of the children is animating the scene. The point of view is showing with precision the details of the door. The light is giving nice tints to the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Malgo, the children see these beautiful doors every day, so they aren't taking much notice of this fine example; the girl is more interested in you.
If the walls were refurbished and the door given some TLC, just imagine how much more wonderful it would look.
Three interesting shots to illustrate your trip.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Malgo,
It seems or the children are happy, with modern toys.
We see a little bit shame at the girl.
An excellent composition also nice presentation.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice weekend,
John.

in fact the relives in the door are very beautiful and added a special character to the door. nice inclusion of the children , one of them trying to kill you with a plastic gun. this made me remember a boy in africa making a gesture of cutting our head off when we waved for him.
take care

Ciao Malgo,3 beautiful pics from the hear of old Stone Town. I agree with you for the choice of main pic,the old doors are unique and the composition with the childs is a great idea. I like the 2 WS too,the colors of national day fest, and the style of balconies that reminds a lot Malta. Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano

Hello Malgo,
Very atmospheric shot in WS2.
Efforts have clearly been made to decorate the doors and balconies as beautifully as possible.
I really like your main photo with the sturdy but beautifully decorated door and the presence of the three children.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Malgo
Another good Zanzibar trio of photos. Great again with the kids but also good with the ancient battered door. There appears to be an almost Ottoman styled building in the second workshop.
cheers

Belo trabalho!
Parabéns e bom domingo

Hello Malgo,
Some exquisite woodcarving in the door panels but I fear that water damage is slowly destroying it. The trio of kids at right animate the scene. Good colour, saturation and sharpness. Tfs!

a spontaneous capture of these kids by the beautiful door. Good framing to keep the kids off center.

Hi Malgo
First - I have to correct you. I was NOT on an organized tour in Porto. It was an organized tour inside the Palace only, you choose a time and go on a tour of the Palace for 30 min. I would NEVER EVER go on a vacation tour :(
as for your photo, i like the old bad condition of the door :)
It just has so much history, visual interest, and its a conversation piece too. wonderful shots you got from here
cheers
Craig
