In Matemwe, I was on the Eastern Side of the island, so I got up early in the morning to see sunrises. Stone Town is on the Western side, so I observed some sunsets.

Hello Malgo,
I remember finding it funny to see the sun shining from the North the first time I was south of the Equator, but it was still rising in the East and setting in the West. ;-)
Nice photo with fine colours and a good exposure. The loving couple are of course the big stars of the photo, but the boats and the person taking an evening swim also create a pleasant atmosphere. The shape of the photo was well chosen.

Hello Malgo,

This is a most appropriate photograph for Valentines Day.
The setting sun makes the sky warm and romantic, casting its colours onto the sea.
The embracing couple are nicely silhouetted against the water, making a strong focal point.

Coming form the east coast of Australia I am used to the sea being east and the inland to the west, But in Perth it was the other way around. The suns sets over the sea there, but rises overland. Here in the east it rises over the sea and sets overland. A romantic shot for Valentine's day. Tfs!

Beautiful ambiance conveyed here with golden light through the thin clouds and silhouettes of the cpouple at thier romantic moment, malgo.
The boats and one swimmer at sea gave good sense of depth to the composition.

the couple is well placed in the photo (a nice flagrant, haha). I liked the repetition of the boats here too. the sunset isn't so colorful for some reason, maybe because it was so dark.

Lovely atmospheric mood. Very romantic...and then I notice that swimmer...is it a swimmer? Is he spying on the couple? Or is that just me?
