Lorsqu'ils ont enfin trouve l'inspiration,
les enfants volants de Stone Town deploient leur ailes.
Ils restent figes comme supendus dans leur mouvement.
Ils hesitent a prendre leur envol.
Ils se donnent du courage.
Et puis ils rejoignent l'horizon.

When they have finally finds the inspiration,
the flying children of Stone Town spread out their wings.
They remain like stoped in their movement.
They hesite has to take their take-off.
They give each theimself courage.
And then they join the horizon

What a very interesting composition! The framing of the kid attempting to 'fly' has given dynamism to the photo. The tone and hue were well captured by setting the right aperture exposures. Nicely done!

How do you get them to jump like this?
This is not like the Flying fish one but the moment is perfect just before the JUMP ( I hope)
Your POV and perspective are marvelous and the light from the low sun is very good

Beutiful lighting on the boy- it helps him stand out. You caught the action just right with the water drips. You know, my favorite part is the pink shorts and the red shirt- it has this warm, tropical feel against the cool tones of the blue/green water. Nice capture!

Salut Bertrand,
Ah ben quand tu veux tu l'utilises ton 350D ! Il se debrouille pas si mal et le reflex c'est quand meme plus reactif quand il s'agit de capturer une action, lemouvement est ici bien fige juste a l'instant ou l'impulsion va se declencher et la lumiere est superbe.

Tu as vraiment saisi le moement ici, un instant liminaire. C'est marrant, il y a peu de photos comme celle-ci - c'est ou l'avant ou le saut mais pas ce moment entre les deux. Belle lumiere, couleurs superbes, maitrise de ce sacre 350D, tout marche!

Bertrand bonjour - fabuleux cadrage dans la diagonale - tu as vraiment shooté au bon moment et c'est lŕ oů on voit la supériorité des reflex par rapport aux bridges (oů il faut calculer un délai de déclenchement) -
C'est une trčs grande photo avec en plus des couleurs et des tons merveilleux -

Bertrand, this is a great action shot, caught at just the right moment. It's at the point of no return - not yet having jumped but committed to go. Coiled like a spring ready to leap into space. This is a good light creating a beautiful tone on the boy's skin.

A well composed dynamic shot rendered at the decisive moment. Great clarity and contrast here. One can see and feel every taut muscle in the boy's body. The garment left on the rock provides that extra dash of colour. Superb capture.

Toujours agréable de voir que les activités des enfants ont un coté universel,car peu importe oů ils se trouvent,les jeux demeurent les męmes.
BonPOV au dessus qui nous permet de l'accompagner,qui nous met en état de déséquilibre et nous emportent vers les flots invitant.
