Lorsqu'ils ne trouvent pas de perchoirs,
les enfants volants de Stone Town sautent sur de vieux pneus.
Ils s'elancent vers le ciel et restent en apesanteur.
Ils ne volent plus, ils se reposent.
Ils flottent sans se mouiller les ailes.

Enfance heureuse.

When they do not find perches,
the flying children of Stone Town jump on old tires. They jump towards the sky and remain in weightlessness.
They do not fly any more, they rest.
They float without wetting the wings.

Hi Bertrand,
Great action shot and the boy seemed to have very good control and confidence in his somersault. What is interesting is that he is in his normal attire. I like the sea as the background and the clarity. Well done!! Have a nice weekend.

This picture is the best, in my opinion, from your series of flying children. You catched the maximum concentration of the boy and the most important moment of his performance. I like this shot, though colors are a bit pale

Ces enfants devraient participer aux jeux olympiques ŕ voir leur qualité de gymnaste artistique !
L'arręt sur image est parfait pour restituer un saut particuličrement acrobatique et réalisé avec talent . Félicitations ŕ vous, Bertrand, pour la photo, et ŕ ce jeune enfant pour ce saut spectaculaire .

Il a du talent ce petit... Et le photographe, c'est pas mal non plus.
Belle action prise ŕ un trčs bon moment, je crois que l'enfant maîtrise bien son apesanteur, avec le sang froid d'un vieux pro, et s'il retombe sur ses pieds c'est tout bon...
Bravo ŕ tous les deux.

I like this. For some reason, because of his position, it makes me think of a Dali painting, where things are not where they should be. Surrealistic, in a way. Very good timing Bertrand.

Le moment décisif est présent, au poil.
Une lévitation figée au 1/1200 s, le gamin est bien net.
Il ne me reste plus qu'ŕ nettoyer la plage.
